Structure Design Engineer

Job description

• Development of 3D models, 2D drawings
• Design in 3D environment and extracting to 2D documentation
• Cooperation in the preparation of conceptual, technical and working documentation together with a team of designers
• Reviews designs/drawings of ships for compliance with Classification and Statutory
• Development of engineering studies and analyses relevant to design, verification of ship and structures according to Classifications Societies
• Implementation of projects based on the specification of customer requirements and company policy
• Assisting the design process and solving technical problems with design
• Participation in design work aimed at new projects and improvement of current projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Naval Architect / Marine Engineering. or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience in engineering, preferably in marine industry (10 years Senior Engineer)
• Knowledge of Class and Statutory regulations
• Knowledge of FORAN or/and CADMATIC, MS Office system
• Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken  
• Ability for teamwork and independence in solving tasks
• The ability to perform calculations on the basis of classification rules, knowledge of other design and calculation programs will be an advantage
