Senior Stress Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities:
The offer applies to permanent work.
- Performing strength calculations of aircraft engine parts (steering and rotating blades, engine housings, external engine parts, piping, brackets)
- Support for existing and new engine programs in terms of strength requirements
- Performing calculations using numerical and analytical computational methods
- Keeping documentation of the results of the analyzes carried out
- Close cooperation with other technical departments, such as aerodynamics, materials, constructors, thermal technicians, quality control, design, test and repair engineers
- Ready for relocation
- Readiness to travel to the clients foreign headquarters in Munich
- Higher technical education, preferably: mechanics and mechanical engineering, aviation and astronautics or similar
- Fluency in English
- Minimum 10 years of experience in performing strength analyzes in the aerospace industry
- Very good knowledge of mechanics, strength of materials, theory of plasticity and issues of low and high cycle fatigue strength (LCF and HCF)
- Very good knowledge of MES issues and the ability to use one of the programs (Ansys, Abaqus, Patran or related)
- Proactive attitude in cooperation
- Ability to work independently as well as work in a team
