The Bid Manager will act as the initial technical point of contact, offering support or consultancy to the business. Responsible for providing quotations for solutions, services, and turnkey business, ensuring that competitive pricing and cutting-edge technology are highlighted. Plays a pivotal role in assisting Area Sales Managers and Contract Administrators. Offers support to sales team throughout the bid life cycle.
- Calculate and coordinate quotations for solutions and services.
- Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bids.
- Contact internal & external stakeholders for technical clarifications, active role for technical support before and during the bidding phase.
- Ongoing support to Area Sales Team.
- Able to offer different alternatives, pro-actively in case of price issues or in case of deviations from specification.
- Contact airfield third party suppliers and installation contractors, prepare RFQs for these, evaluate offers.
- Analyzing and preparation of RFQ’s in line with recommendations.
- Prepare gross BOQs for budgetary offers.
- Preparation for formal bid & tender submissions.
